Eustace's Adventure Starts (Unofficially)
Eustace was sitting on the bus, sketching on his notepad. Most kids sketched doodles of people shooting other people, but not Eustace- he was much more intelligent than that. Instead, he was sketching out a complex blueprint for a water-powered car. He found physics and technology easy, but definitely not sociality. He’d either talk about his recent invention or not talk at all. And he was an ideal target for bullying. He already had five spit wads shot at his shirt. He was growing a bit tired of this. Fortunately, though, the bus stopped. Eustace got off his seat and managed to get outside without being pushed or shoved. When he was out, more than two hundred floors of iron and glass stood before him. He swore that storm clouds were gathering overhead, though. He sucked up his fear and entered the Empire State Building, bound for the top floor… and destiny.

His problems were just beginning, because as he flew upwards in an iron box the lights began flickering, as if some crazy gods were flicking a light switch on and off. The elevator stopped at the top floor, and everybody got off. Despite the sturdy architecture of the building, it was wobbling a little bit in the wind. While the braver kids went near the window, Eustace stayed near the elevator (and a trash can, in case he puked). it was then that he saw the scorpion crawling from the elevator shaft, followed by it's brother- no, swarm of brothers. And a large black scorpion, he forgot to mention that. Despite his intense fear of heights, he staggered towards the edge. Then the massive scorpion crawled out of the elevator shaft, and the screaming began.

On the 273rd floor, pandemonium had broken out. All the students and teachers ran screaming into the elevator, screaming their heads off, except for Eustace, who had been pinned down by the massive scorpion. The scorpion raised it's claw, preparing to end Eustace's days.

Eustace had somehow squeezed out of the scorpions grip at the last second, and the claw had made cracks in the floor. It was about the size of a car, with two massive claws about as big as vending machines. It's black plated body shone in the flickering light as it scuttled towards me, stinger dripping with venom. If only some expert at slaying massive black car-sized scorpions was here.

Weeds—Great Show!
What works Weeds DVD best about sending Nancy and Co on the lam is that it also lets the show backtrack it's history, letting the characters come to terms with what they have done over the years. Desperate Housewives DVD It's in that self reflective nature that the show brings in a wholly unexpected emotional level. The finale here is not necessarily shocking in terms of plot, but shocking for what Nancy does emotionally, Cold Case DVD when you see it, you will never think she had it in her. Season Six of Weeds is decidedly different in almost every aspect, but it also brings all of the shows past seasons into a greater light. Curb Your Enthusiasm DVD Since we finally get to really see what is going on under the surface with Nancy, Andy, Silas, Shane and yes, even Doug, we begin to understand their past (before the show started), their actions during the series and then how they react during Season Six. With the writing in such top form, the acting is even better. Mary-Louise Parker is as riveting and unlikeable as ever as Nancy Botwin (though the frustration you feel with her during the season is specifically calculated and snaps into focus during the finale). Bones DVD Justin Kirk really takes the front seat as a father figure and leader, being the emotional ground for which the family stands. Hunter Parrish as Silas gives a haunting, aching performance showing how he is really questioning his role in the family and what he truly wants in life.
